On February 5, staff at General Andrews rest stop were presented the "Excellence in Maintenance Interstate 35 Award." Five full time and three alternate Green View employees work at this rest stop. Blaine Jensen of Bruno is the crew leader for Green View and has held this position since November 2002.

Conservatively speaking, 25 million people use Minnesota rest stops per year.

Random unannounced inspections of the rest stops are made throughout the year. These are rest stops from Duluth to the Iowa border on I-35. This is the second year in a row staff at General Andrews has been presented this award.

The comment was made by the inspector presenting the plaque that those working at General Andrews are very positive about one another and go by the "we" concept for maintaining the rest stop. "We" work together to accomplish tasks.
