The Barnum Bombers boys took on the taller South Ridge team on the Panthers' home court on December 19.

The Bombers would strike first as Joe Peterson launched a long bomb to put the Bombers on top. The first half would be a back and forth battle as both teams would find ways to score. Peterson led the Bombers in scoring in the first half with 10 points, while the Panthers' top scorer would only rack up 6 first half points. The Bombers' Blaze Hurst and Garrett Coughlin double teamed the Panthers' big man under the basket, Kayden Palmi, standing 6'8" and preventing him from scoring in the first half. Hurst and Coughlin only scored 3 points each, but they were strong defensively. Ty Asperheim and Jake Hultgren both added a basket each for 2 points in the first half.

The second half again saw the Bombers keeping the Panthers on their toes as they struggled to score against the Bombers. Asperheim stepped up in the second half, racking up 15 second half points. Peterson added 10, Hultgren had 7, Hurst with 5, and Coughlin with another 4.

The Bombers walked away with the 61-50 victory.
