The Lady Bombers basketball team has been struggling this season as many members chose not to return. With a younger and less experienced team, the Lady Bombers took their first victory of the season against the Wrens of Wrenshall on December 9.

Bombers' senior Makenzee Schleret led the team with 23 points, 15 of which came in the first half. Meanwhile, teammate Allison Marine added 13 points with 11 coming in the first half. Anessa Davis had 9, Rayna Klejeski with 6, Kendal Miletich and Madison Warnygora with 5, Olivia Bogenholm with 4, Trenity Gladen came off the bench to put up 2 points late in the second half, and Lily Higgins went to the free throw line for 1 point.

The Bombers held the Wrens to just 6 first half points. The second half the Wrens found room to score, but the Bombers still walked away with the 68-28 victory.

The Wrens' Hailey Tauzell was the top scorer with 12 points, Alexis Perry, Hannah Lattu, and Samantha Nyberg had 4 each, and Ashley Hart and Taylor Bryce had 2 points for the Wrens' 28 points.
