The Bombers would traveled to Culver to take on the Panthers of South Ridge on the October 23 for their next round of section 7A volleyball.

Set one of the night was be a back and forth battle as neither team could pull away at first. However, the Bombers eventually crept away with the lead and took the first set 25-19.

The second set would look much the same as the Bombers would come away with the 25-20 victory.

However, the Panthers regrouped after the second set and came out playing harder in the third set to defeat the Bombers 25-19.

In the fourth set, both teams rallied well with the Panthers coming out on top taking the fourth set 25-18.

This forced a fifth and final set to 15 points. It was another back and forth battle as both teams wanted to take home the victory and advance to the next round of tournament play. The game came down to one last play as the Bombers set up to tie the set with a nice kill attempt, but the ball hit just outside of bounds, giving the Panthers the set and the win for the night 15-13.

The Bombers haved improved and gotten stronger over the course of this season and are set to be even better when the season begins next year with only two seniors leaving.

Reese Miletich again led the Bombers with 19 kills, 6 blocks, 1 assist, and 14 digs; Lacie O'Leary had 12 kills, 1 block, 31 digs, and 3 ace serves; Kendal Miletich had 6 kills and 24 digs; Alina Lekander had 5 kills, 24 digs, and 1 ace; Olivia Bogenholm had 4 kills, 10 digs, and 2 aces; Brooke Doran had 43 set assists and 16 digs; and Danna Weets would round out the night with 13 digs.
