A crew starts to break ground at the rear of Marketplace with recent rains hindering progress.

Marketplace Foods in Moose Lake began breaking ground for a new addition to the local grocery store. The store plans on adding about 8,000 square feet to the current building. According to Manager Randy Temple, the addition will include a Caribou Coffee with a drive-through, a bait and tackle shop, an expanded deli section with seating, expanded bakery, dairy, and produce, and a new enlarged entrance. The addition is expected to be completed spring of 2020.
