The Barnum Bombers hosted the Grizzlies of North Woods on Friday, September 20th for the Bombers' Homecoming game.

The Grizzlies was the first team to strike as they took the ball and marched it up the field into the end zone for a touchdown with the 2-point conversion successful, 8-0. It would then be the Bombers turn to have the ball but the Bombers found difficulty moving the ball and were forced to punt the ball away. The Grizzlies started their attack as they begin moving the ball up the field. Bombers' Braiden Davis found himself in the right place at the right time as he picked off a pass intended for the Grizzlies' receiver and set the Bombers up with a drive that would end with Braiden Davis receiving a pass and running the ball into the end zone. The Bombers' 2-point conversion failed and they trailed 8-6.

The majority of the rest of the night saw the Grizzlies moving the ball up the field and scoring, but late in the second half the Bombers found their way into the end zone for another score but the 2-point conversion attempt once again failed. The Bombers eventually fell to the Grizzlies 30-12.

As special entertainment for the homecoming game, the Bomber streakers came out of the fog and darkness at the end of the first period to plant their flag at mid field, then at halftime the Bombers cheerleaders put on a halftime show followed by the Bomber elementary football teams playing a few minutes of football before the second half began.
