The Barnum Bombers volleyball season opened with the Bombers traveling down to East Central to take on the Eagles on Tuesday, August 27. The Bombers started out slow as the Eagles took an early lead, but it wasn't long before the Bombers regrouped and made a comeback. Once the Bombers got control of themselves and the game, they would run wild over the Eagles and take the first set 25-11.

The second set followed similarly to the first set as the Bombers drove the ball hard and hit it past the Eagles defense. The Bombers won the second set 25-12.

In the third set, the Eagles fought to claim a set for their own but they still fell to the Bombers 25-14 and would give the Bombers a 3 set to none victory over the Eagles.

The Bombers were led by Olivia Bogenholm with 8 kills, 1 dig, and 2 ace serves; Reese Miletich put up 7 kills, 15 digs, 1 block, and 7 ace serves; Alina Lekander with 3 kills, 5 digs, and 4 ace serves; Kendal Miletich with 3 kills, 3 digs, and 2 ace serves. Lacey O'Leary with 3 kills, 15 digs, and 1 ace serve; and Brooke Doran with 15 assists, 2 digs and 4 ace serves.
