Moose Lake Airport to host Fly-in, Drive-in Pancake Breakfast

The Lake Air Flying Club and the Moose Lake Kiwanis Club will kick off the summer season with their annual Fly-In, Drive-In Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at Kovanen Field, south of Moose Lake, this Saturday, June 15th. The breakfast will start at 7:30 a.m. and run until 11:00 a.m. Airplane rides will again be available this year.

A variety of different aircraft are expected to come to Moose Lake to take part in the fly-In. Many people have enjoyed the breakfast and a close-up look at all the different makes and models of aircraft. Cost for the pancake feed is $6.00 for those 12 years old and up, $4.00 for 5-11 year olds, and under 5 are free. A 50¢ discount will apply this year to tickets purchased in advance. Tickets are available from Kiwanis members and at First National Bank of Moose Lake.

Only approved vendors will be allowed to set up on the Airport property. For more information please call Larry Peterson at (218)485-4441.
