Larry DeLawder as Barney Fife

Do you remember one of America's favorite TV shows in the early 1960s, The Andy Griffith Show? And do you remember Barney Fife, the bumbling but dedicated deputy in that sleepy little town of Mayberry, NC? We all looked forward each week to see just what Barney was up to. Well this is your opportunity to experience "Barney's" special humor again!

From Branson MO, you will not want to miss Larry DeLawder as he impersonates the unforgettable Barney Fife of The Andy Griffith Show! DeLawder is of the same size and stature as Barney and has perfected all of Barney's mannerisms so well you will think he really is Barney!

DeLawder is also a renowned harmonica player who has been nominated seven years for the "Singing News Fan Awards" as Instrumentalist of the Year and was nominated and received the "Hearts Aflame" award for Instrumentalist of the Year. In 1997 Larry began traveling with Gary McSpadden full time for almost four years. During that time, he also performed on Gary's popular TV show Gary McSpadden's Gospel Jubilee, playing harmonica, performing comedy, and impersonating Barney Fife. He also appeared on Swan's Place, hosted by Dennis Swanburg, and has appeared on Bill Gaither Homecoming videos. DeLawder has also performed in the Barbara Fairchild Shows as drummer and comedian. Beginning March of 2001, Larry began performing in The Magnificent Seven show.

Larry will be performing at Barnum Community Church on June 8 at 5:00 pm and again on June 9 at 9:20 am.
