Four students, playing nursing home residents, completed their musical dance with a big finish.

The talent was in and the crowd was there in full support on Friday, March 7th, for Barnum's elementary talent show. Proceeds for the event will help fund the annual trip to Wolf Ridge for the six graders. A table of snacks and refreshments was also provided to raise funds.

Teachers Heather Carlson and Lynn Kempf were delightful and entertaining hosts for the hour-long show, which began with comedic duo Faith and Tarrin opening with toilet jokes. The teachers also came to entertain with a dance skit in which the lights were turned off and their white stockings glowed from black light, turning them into bizarre stick figures.

A short magic show followed performed by Natalie. Two students sang different solo songs, Solomon impressed with his piano skills, Jacob played part of the "Star Wars" theme on his trumpet, and budding ventriloquist Persephone took the stage. There were also numerous comedic skits from elementary classmates, including the "invisible bench" and a group dressed as the elderly with a dance routine.

Intermixed with the talent were several audience participation games, much to the delight of those present, including a ring toss, balloon drop with prizes inside, waddle game, duck toss, and a girl versus boy sing off.
