The green-coated ski instructors taught students the basics of successful skiing, including how to fall and get up again.

Skis, snow, and sunshine made the Willow River annual fourth, fifth, and sixth grade ski trip to Spirit Mountain a day to remember Thursday, February 28th. In their third year of the trip, the sixth graders quickly earned lift tickets and sped off to the big hill to ski, while the fourth and fifth grades renewed or learned skills with the Spirit Mountain volunteer instructors. The majority of students eventually graduated from the bunny hill and made many runs down the larger slope.
