Bombers declaw Tigers 44-34

Barnum Bombers would take down the Rush City Tigers 44-34 on the road in Rush City on the 4th of February. The Bombers would jump to an early lead as Sam Goodwin and Blaze Hurst would find room under the basket for the inside baskets. The Bombers would take the early 13-5 lead, but soon the Tigers would find room to score. Closing the gap the Tigers would soon find themselves knocking on the Bombers door, the Bombers would regroup and take a 20-12 lead going into halftime.

The second half would see a pretty even match up as the Bombers would score an additional 24 points while the Tigers would keep it close adding 22 second half points themselves. The Bombers would keep the pressure on the Tigers causing several turnovers while the Tigers would find room to move around the Bombers defense to keep the game close during the second half. The Tigers just couldn't find enough room to be able to overcome the Bombers 8-point firsthalf lead. Tyler Nynas would lead the Bombers in scoring putting up 14 game points, while Sam Goodwin would follow close with 13 points. Blaze Hurst would score 8 points for the night while Jake Nynas would put up 5 game points. Finally Jared Haley would find room to score as he would end the night with 4 points.The Tigers would be led by Robert Plumley Jr. with 16 points for the night. Zane Hahn would put up 7 points while Brandon Gullerud would score 4 points. Brandon Guptill would land an outside 3 for his only points of the night. Seth Hora and Sandon Stepp would both end the night with 2 points giving the Tigers 34 points for the game.
