Rebels outshot in the third period

The Moose Lake Area Rebels boys hockey team fell to Proctor 6-2 on Tuesday, Dec. 18.

With the loss, the Rebels are now 1-6-1 on the season.

The Rebels had one goal in the first and one in the second to stay within a goal of the Rails going into the third period, but Proctor scored three times to finish out the game.

The Rebels were outshot 40-13 in the game. Danny Whited stopped 34 of the 40 shots.

Three minutes into the game, the Rebels were the first to score on a goal by Vern Anderson on the power play. He was assisted by Jordan Fjosne and Anakin Oswald.

Fjosne had the second goal of the game for the Rebels, and was assisted by Anderson and Oswald.

The Rebels will be playing in the North Shore Tournament Dec. 27-29. Their first game is against Park Rapids on Dec. 27 at 5:30 p.m.
