New this year, Barnum High School started a mentoring program to help acclimate incoming seventh graders to the high school. Throughout the year, a group of trained 10th and 11th graders (the Bomb Squad) will work with small groups of seventh graders, helping them develop their life-management, study and interpersonal skills. The program kicked off on August 27 with a high-spirited, all-inclusive, and anti-bullying morning orientation at the school.
