Double-header playoff game for softball = double win

Game 1, MLWR 3 Proctor 1

The Rebels came through with three runs in the bottom of the sixth on six straight singles, half of the infield variety. Laura Walker went five innings just giving up one run and seventh grader Sarah Christy pitched the final two scoreless innings to pick up the win. Liz Frase pitched a complete game for Proctor.

WP: Sarah Christy 2IP, 0R, 3H, 2K, 0BB in relief of Lara Walker 5IP, 1ER, 5 H, 1K, 0BB.

Game 2, MLWR 11 International Falls 5

Bella Meyer put things away with a bases loaded double in the seventh and Natalie Mikrot scored four runs. Sarah Christy entered in relief of Lilli Skelton with a 6-5 lead and pitched four scoreless one-hit innings.
