Rebel boys outpace EC Eagles

This past Tuesday, the Moose Lake-Willow River boys' basketball team beat East Central by the score of 84-55.

The Rebels led the entire game leaving the first half with score of 39-27. The Rebels put up some impressive stats this game with five players in double figures. Ryan Barrett led the way with 20 points, Adam Dragicevich scored 16, Avery Koloski had 15, and both Brady Watrin and Thomas Gulso scored 10. Barrett had three three- pointers, while Koloski, Mason Olson, Watrin and Philip Sheetz all had one each.

With this win, the Rebels improved their season record to 15-12 and their home record went to 6-8. This was the final home game for the season. Seniors Barrett, Kosloski, and Tyler Mehrkens were honored at the game.

MLWR boys dominate in match-up against Rush City

The Rebels boys' basketball team beat Rush City on March 2 in Rush City by the score of 66-30.

The Rebels led Rush City 33-12 at the half. Top scorers this time were Adam Dragicevich with 14, Ryan Barrett with 13, Thomas Gulso with 10, Logan Orvedahl and Avery Kososki with eight, Brady Watrin with six, Mason Olson with five, and Carter Klund and Ben Dewey with one a piece. This victory increases the Rebels away game record to 10-4, making their season record 16-12.
