Barnum's Saul Myhre hits the long bomb for three points.

The Barnum Bombers boys basketball team played the second game of a double header against the Silver Bay Mariners on January 26.

The boys played much like the Lady Bombers as they took the early lead over the Mariners with Drake Weets and Kyle Kielty landing some nice outside shots. Tyler Nynas drove hard to the basket, drawing fouls by the Mariners, then headed to the free-throw line. The Bombers led the Mariners into halftime 35-21.

The second half, the Mariners did not fare much better as the Bombers continued to shoot well. Bomber Saul Myhre came off the bench and had a great game, landing long ball after long ball. Myhre put up a total of 14 points in the game.

The Bombers ended the night with senior Drake Weets leading the scoring with 18 points, followed by Myhre with 14. Nynas added 13 points, while Kielty added 10 points. Sam Goodwin stood his ground and added nine points. Blaze Hurst came off the bench to add three points. Braeden Hlavka and Tony Robinson both added two points.
