Barnum Bomber Anthony Robinson returns the Warrior punt for nice Bombers field position.

The Barnum Bombers football team hosted the Deer River Warriors on Friday, October 6.

The Bombers start the homecoming game by kicking off to the Warriors. The Bombers defense made an early stand as they forced the Warriors to punt the ball early in their drive. The Bombers received the punt and found themselves with nice field position. With only 5:29 left in the first period, the Bombers put their first score on the board, with the two-point conversion successful. The Bombers had an 8-0 lead.

The Warriors found their way into the end zone, but the attempt to add two was unsuccessful. The Bombers soon added another six points, while the Warriors also added six. The Bombers headed into halftime with a 14-12 lead over the Warriors.

The Bombers then put on a show as they added in another 14 points, while holding the Warriors to nothing in the second half. The Bombers took the 28-12 victory over the Warriors.

During the game, the Bombers were visited by clowns as homecoming festivities began with streakers emerging from the woods, depositing the Bombers flag at the 50 yard line.
