Wilderness host Moose Lake Area Night

March 30, 2017

The NAHL Minnesota Wilderness hosted Moose Lake Area Night during the Saturday night, March 25, home game against the Bismarck Bobcats. Hundreds of Moose Lake area fans made up part of the nearly 3,500 in attendance over the weekend series. The Wilderness split the weekend, clinching a playoff spot in the NAHL National Robertson Cup Playoffs.

The Moose Lake Area Mites are introduced with the Minnesota Wilderness starting line-up, including No.19 Bryceton Butkiewicz, a Moose Lake Community School senior.

Moose Lake Area Night treated the fans to hockey action with the Moose Lake Area Hockey Mites skating between periods. The Mites were introduced before the start of the game, along with the Wilderness starting line-up, including Moose Lake senior, No. 19, Bryceton Butkiewicz.

Emma S. from Moose Lake Community School sang the National Anthem. Butkiewicz was the player featured in the game program and was also selected one of the three Stars of the Game at the finish.

The Wilderness have one more home series next weekend, March 31 and April 1, against the Janesville Jets. Following that, they will have a series in Minot, North Dakota, against the Minotauros April 7 and 8, finishing off their regular season.

The schedule for the first round division semifinals playoffs will be determined at the conclusion of the regular season.
