Barnum Bomber Samuel Goodwin finds room under the basket for two points.

The Barnum Bombers took the short trip to Cromwell to take on the Cardinals February 14.

The game started off as a back and forth battle with both sides putting up a good show. The Cardinals and Bombers showed their rivalry is strong as both teams left it all on the floor, both putting up some nice shots.

The Bombers take the lead and carried it into halftime.

The Cardinals tried to rally in the second half, but found the Bombers were not done yet. Bombers Kyle Kielty, Daniel Gilchrist, Reece Parks and Samuel Goodwin put together a strong game as they came out with the 68-56 victory over the Cardinals.

Gilchrist led the Bombers' scoring with 25 points, while both Parks and Goodwin added 15 points apiece. Kielty was held to only 11 points, while Colton Ziegler rounded out the scoring with two points.

With this victory, the Bombers hit a milestone, giving Coach Rich Newman his 400th win in his high school boys basketball coaching career.
