Bombers boys slide past Wrens

The Barnum Bombers boys basketball team opened up the gym for the Wrens on Friday, January 13, to compete on the hardwood.

The Bombers took the early lead with Kyle Kielty making 17 first-half points. Reece Parks found some action driving the lane and dropped the long ball for seven first-half points. Daniel Gilchrist landed a long bomb for three first-half points, while Nolan Wickstrom and Tyler Nynas found room driving the lane for a pair of points each in the first half of the game.

The Bombers took a 31-12 lead into halftime.

The second half saw Bomber Kielty coming out strong again, adding 13 points to give him a team high 30 points for the night. Gilchrist also found himself dropping in a pair of long balls to add six more points, giving him nine for the night. Tyler Nynas and Colton Ziegler both went to the free-throw line giving Nynas four points for the night and Ziegler two points.

The Bombers walked away from the Friday the 13th game against the Wrenshall Wrens with the 54-33 victory.
