The Barnum Lady Bombers started the Section 7AA tournament run heading out to Crosby to take on the Rangers of Crosby-Ironton March 3.

The Bombers started out slow, as the Rangers had Barnum's Emily Miletich off balance. Miletich was only able to manage to drop down five points in the first half. Mallory Agurkis was the lead scorer for the Bombers in the first half as she was able to drop in two long bombs, hit a nice layup and landed an extra point from the free-throw line. Bailey Wheeler took some nice shots at the basket, but her shots did not find the mark. Kaitlyn Skutevik came off the bench to land a nice long bomb for her three points in the first half. Britney Mike was the only other Bomber to score in the first half with a nice drive to the basket to draw the foul and go to the free-throw line for the three point play.

The Bombers went into halftime trailing the Rangers 40-20.

The second half had Bombers coming out with new energy, as Miletich found room to start scoring. Wheeler also found her range and dropped a long shot through the hoop. She also had the opportunity to go to the line for another point. Agurkis continued to drain the long bomb as she dropped three more shots. Liz Carlson also took her chance to drop in the long shot for three points. Finally, it was senior Lexi Fuglestad taking the ball hard to the hoop for two points.

The Barnum Bombers' bid for a Section 7AA run came to the hands of the Rangers as the Bombers fell 81-57.

Miletich ended the game with 24 points, while Agurkis added 18 points. Wheeler contributed four points, while Mike, Skutevik and Carlson all added three points. Fuglestad added the final two points.
