In a match-up that was to be the best of the Section 7AA quarterfinals, the Barnum Bombers went against the Crosby-Ironton Rangers.

From the very beginning the game was all Rangers, as the Bombers struggled to get their offense going. The Rangers were simply bigger and stronger. The Bombers defense also struggled to get started.

Bomber Chris Carlson found the lane blocked as he drove in to score, also finding it difficult to land the long ball. Mason Agurkis also had trouble finding the range with his shots. Hunter Fetters got pushed around under the basket but still found room to score.

The Bombers had only nine points going into halftime, while the Rangers were in the 20s. The second half had the Bombers pounding the ball to Fetters as the Bombers finally began to score. Kyle Kielty seemed to spark the Bombers offense as he came off the bench and began to drive the ball in to the basket. Reese Parks, Daniel Gilchrist and Drake Weets all used their talents to add to the Bombers score, but it was not enough. The Bombers fell to the Rangers 59-36, ending their run for the section title.
