The Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels Libbie Ring and Barnum Bombers Hannah Tate team up in the all-star game.

The Polar League All-Star volleyball game was held November 16, with both the Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels and Barnum Bombers represented.

The Bombers sent senior Hannah Tate, while the Rebels sent senior Libbie Ring. Ring and Tate played as teammates on the pink team along with girls from South Ridge, Floodwood, Cook County, Esko, Wrenshall, McGregor and Cromwell.

The blue team consisted of members from South Ridge, Silver Bay, Esko, Carlton, Cook County and Two Harbors.

The first set went to the blue team as they worked well as a group, while the pink team struggled in the beginning.

There was a series of events held between sets, including a serving and passing competition between the first and second sets of the night.

After the first two competitions the second set began. It looked as if the pink team found a way to play together as they kept the match close until the end, when the pink team took the victory.

The night was tied with one set apiece forcing a third and final set. Before the final set began, however, a couple more competitions were held, this time setting and spiking competitions.

The third and final set began and the teams came out fighting. They both wanted to be No. 1. It was a back and forth battle, but in the end it was the pink team that came out on top as they claimed the victory and bragging rights.
