The Bombers traveled to Pine City to take on the Dragons October 20. This was a big game for both teams as it would play into the placings for the section tournaments. The first set had the Bombers and Dragons battling back and forth point for point, with the showdown hitting 32-30 with the Dragons coming out on top. The second set had the Dragons jumping to the early lead as the Bombers battled to try to stay in contention but again they were trampled by the Dragons 25-15, forcing the Bombers to regroup and come out to fight if they wanted a chance to walk away with the win. The third set had the Bombers coming out fighting as they took the lead, but it was a steady battle as the Dragons wanted the evening to end early. The Bombers took the third set 25-21, forcing a fourth set. The Dragons knuckled down and took the win away from the Bombers 25-21, sealing the night with the win in the fourth set.

The second game of the week was on the Bombers' home court, taking on the Tigers of Rush City October 22. This was again a powerful struggle that the Bombers took on head first. The Bombers put together some nice rallies against a very powerful opponent, but the Tigers would not be denied as they brought their powerful hitters and pounded the Bombers. The Tigers took the night and walked away with a three set win against the Bombers. Senior Hannah Tate again led the Bombers with seven kills. Senior Emma Koski had 14 set assists and senior Lyric Lekander added three ace serves. The Bombers headed into tournaments locking up sixth position giving them a first round home game against the Eagles of Northland October 26.
