The Barnum Lady Bombers hosted the Silver Bay Mariners Tuesday, October 13. This was a battle to the end.

The Bombers started out strong, but the Mariners soon caught the Bombers. The first set ended with a back and forth point battle, finally going to the Bombers, 27-25.

The Mariners came back in the second set, showing the Bombers they would not give up. The Mariners took the second and third sets, 25-17 and 25-15. This meant the Bombers would have to take the fourth and fifth sets to keep their hopes alive for the victory.

The Bombers started out slow in the fourth set and coach Ashley Palmer called a timeout. The lady Bombers were pumped up and took the fourth set, 25-17.

In the fifth and final set, the Bombers fought to take the victory 15-11.

The Bombers were led by senior Hannah Tate with 11 kills, one assist, three digs and one ace serve. Megan Laine added five kills, two digs and one ace serve. Emily Miletich had five kills and two digs. Jessica Bird ended the evening with three kills, eight assists and six digs. Alyssa Hunter added three kills and one ace serve. Lea Peterson walked away from the night with two kills, five assists and three digs. Emma Koski added one kill, 13 assists, three ace serves and five digs. Brittany Baier added 10 assists, three ace serves and five digs. Lyric Lekander added one kill and nine digs. Aleah Orlowski came away with 12 digs.
