Barnum Bomber Jessica Bird floats the volleyball over the net in the game against the Two Harbors Agates October 1 in Barnum.

The Barnum Bombers took on the Agates of Two Harbors Thursday, October 1, on the Bombers' home court.

The Bombers came out on a mission as they took an early lead and pounded the Agates. It was a steady onslaught of attacks as Bombers Emily Miletich, Hannah Tate, Alyssa Hunter and Megan Laine had opportunities to smash the ball to the floor against the Agates for the kill. Brittany Baier and Emma Koski were on fire as they set up the lady Bombers for the easy kills.

The Bombers also did a great job serving, landing several serves on or just inside the line for an easy ace. The Bombers' front line did a good job as they blocked many shots.

The Bombers took down the Agates in three sets to claim the victory for the evening.

The Bombers have a busy homecoming week this week as they first played host to Lakeview Christian Academy Monday October 5. The lady Bombers were then on the road to McGregor to take on the Mercs October 6. Finally, the Bombers host the Cardinals of Cromwell to finish off the week October 9.
