Supermoon Sunday

Though clouds often plagued spectators' view of Sunday's "supermoon" lunar eclipse, when the clouds broke the view was a sight to see. September 27 marked a supermoon (a slightly-larger-than-normal full moon, due to its relative closeness in its elliptical orbit around the earth) combined with a total lunar eclipse, an event that last took place in 1982 and won't happen again until 2033.
