Granfors walked and Ryan had a sacrifice bunt. Fossum singled through the left side. Lampel got an RBI single to center for 4-1 and Janke through the left side for 5-1. Carlson flied to center off a new pitcher, and there was an overthrow to third, but Adamczak struck out.

Ryan got off to a good start in the fifth but then issued a walk and there was an error at third. A triple to center was two RBIs and 5-3. Another walk followed and the triple to right made it 5-5. Fossum relieved Ryan, but Fossum was greeted with a double to left and 6-5 before a grounder went to Lampel.

Halverson struck out on a high one. Whited and Granfors both walked. Ryan flied to center and Fossum popped to short.

The Outlaws got two Fossum strikeouts to start the top of the sixth and Adamczak gunned a throw for a 1-2-3.
