In the first round of Section 7AA playoffs February 25 in Barnum the Barnum Bombers boys basketball team took on the Aitkin Gobblers. The Bombers took control of the game early and never looked back.

The Bombers took the Gobblers 73-37.

In the second round of Section 7AA playoffs on February 28 at Duluth Denfeld High School the Bombers took on the Dragons of Pine City.

The Bombers started out with an onslaught of outside shooting coming from a number of Bombers players - Brandon Newman, Chris Carlson and Andrew Naslund all landed shots from beyond the arc.

The Bombers then looked to pound the ball inside to Hunter Fetters and Nate Jelinek.

The Bombers went into halftime leading 35-21.

In the second half the Bombers continued to dominate as they continued to pound the ball from below the basket and the long range drilling from beyond the arc.

Newman began to drive the ball inside, drawing the fouls on the Dragons. Newman scored nearly half of his points from the free-throw line. Newman led the Bombers in scoring with 25 points. Carlson followed close behind with 22 points, landing four three-pointers. Fetters ended the evening scoring 10 points. Naslund scored four points and Mitchell Weller rounded out the Bombers scoring with two points.

The Bombers slayed the Dragons 63-36.
