Southwest Minnesota State University head women's basketball coach Allison Kruger recently announced that two high school standouts have signed letters of intent to continue their academic and basketball careers at SMSU.

Joining the SMSU program for the 2015-16 season include Sariah (Sa-rye-ah) Cheadle from Fulda and Adrianna Jusczak from Moose Lake.

Jusczak, a 5-foot-11 forward at Moose Lake High School, averaged 17.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game last season for coach Joe Adamczak. She is a two-time first team all-conference honoree and has scored more than 1,300 points and grabbed more than 800 rebounds in her career. She is also an all-conference honoree in volleyball.

"Adri has the potential to be a great forward in our program," Kruger said. "She is very competitive, plays hard and can make an impact in a variety of ways. Her ability to rebound, defend and score inside or out makes her a complete player. Adri's most productive years are yet to come and we couldn't be more excited to have her join our program."

Southwest Minnesota State, located in Marshall, is a member of NCAA Division II and competes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
