Barnum Bomber Hunter Langhorst pressures the Cook County Vikings quarterback in the October 15 game in Cook County.

The Barnum Bombers football team made the long journey to Grand Marais on Wednesday, October 15 to take on the Cook County Vikings. It was a nice evening for football as the skies were clear with just a hint of cool air.

The Bombers were the first to score, though they found it difficult at times to push through the Vikings' defensive line. The Bombers' defense also put up a strong front line, not giving the Vikings much room to run. The Vikings then changed to a passing game and began to find some movement, but that soon began to fall apart as a trio of Bombers, Nate Jelinek, Deshon Robinson and Hunter Langhorst, continually pressured the quarterback.

The Bombers found ways to get the ball into the end zone, but fell short with the attempts to score 2-point conversions.

The night ended with the Bombers with a 24-8 point victory over the Vikings.

The Bombers hit the road one more time to Blackduck for the first round of tournaments on Tuesday, October 21.
