Bombers softball finally hits field

The Barnum Bombers girls softball team finally hit the field, starting the season taking on the Bombers of Braham on April 22.

Barnum Bomber Cheyanne Johnson led the team with two runs scored against Braham, followed by Lauren Hultgren and Kerra Rowell both scoring single runs. Johnson also had two RBIs, while Hultgren ended with one RBI. Rowell led the team with two steals. Hultgren and Olivia Angell both had one steal in the 4-0 win over the Braham Bombers.

For the Barnum Bombers' second game of the week, they met the Rush City Tigers.

The Bombers fell to the Tigers 7-4.

Elizabeth Carlson led the Bombers against the Tigers with two runs. Lea Peterson and Rowell rounded out the scoring for the Bombers with single runs apiece.
