Bomber girls drop Bulldogs

The Barnum Bombers girls basketball team headed to Carlton to take on the Bulldogs January 16.

The night belonged to the Bombers, led by junior Cheyanne Johnson who dropped in six long balls for the night; she dropped only one basket from the paint and went to the free throw line for five additional points. Johnson also posted two assists, three steals and five rebounds.

Daron Mainville posted 12 points, two assists, three steals, seven rebounds and three blocks. Lissa Warpula did some damage on the defensive side, scoring three points. Warpula had two assists, five steals, two rebounds and two blocks.

Megan Nelson was a free throw machine dropping 10 points from the line, with three assists, three steals, six rebounds and two points from the paint. Lauren Hultgren had three assists, three steals, one rebound, two free throws and six points. Emily Miletich ended the night with 11 points, two assists, two steals and eight rebounds. Jaelyn Bushey put up eight assists, two steals, three rebounds and four points.

Emma Koski came off the bench to post four assists, one steal, five rebounds and five points. Baily Wheeler came off the bench for one blocked shot.

The Bombers went on to win the match-up with the Bulldogs 79-24.
