Barnum Bomber Olivia Angell hits the ball over the net.

The Barnum Bombers hosted the Two Harbors Agates for their second to last regular season volleyball game on October 10.

The Bombers took the first set 25-17, with Bomber Olivia Angell leading the way with two kills in the first set. Megan Nelson and Sage Miletich led the team with digs, allowing the Bombers to come away with the victory in the first set.

The Bombers then took the second set, this time with Daron Mainville taking the lead on kills with two. It was MJ Anderson leading the team with digs with six, followed by Angell with four, giving the Bombers the second set 25-13.

The third set, however, belonged to the Agates, with some miscues by the Bombers. The Agates got the lead and the Bombers were forced to play catch up. The Agates were able to take the third set 25-20.

The Bombers took command of the fourth set and again dominated. With Anderson's eight ace serves on the night, the Bombers came away with the fourth set 25-18. Angell again led the Bombers on kills with five, while Madison Hlavka came off the bench to add three kills. Miletich came up huge with 15 digs while Megan Nelson had five.

With this win, the Bombers secure a first round home tournament game on October 21. The Bombers, however, were set to make the trek to Esko to take on the Eskimos for their final regular season game on October 15.
