February 8 saw the Lady Bombers and Lady Rebels rivalry continue. The Bombers hoped to sweep the season while the Rebels hoped to beat the Bombers.

It was a good match-up as Bomber Emily Miletich led with 17 first-half points, while Makenzee Schleret scored 10 points. Meanwhile, the Rebels answered back as Natalie Mikrot scored seven first-half points and Ella Rhoades scored eight. Bombers Mallory Agurkis and Liz Carlson dropped long bombs for three points in the first half. Lea Peterson dropped a two and an extra point from the line to give her three first-half points. Kendal Miletich got two, while Kaitlyn Skutevik went to the line and dropped one of two free-throws. Rebel Dallis Kukuk landed the long bomb and also went to the line and dropped one of two from the line, giving her four first-half points. Maci Kukuk also landed a long ball for three points. Suzy Grutkoski drove the lane for two points, while Laura Walker went to the line and dropped both free-throws. The Bombers went into halftime leading 39-26.

The second half had the Bombers on top, but the Rebels came out wanting to take control of the game. Just a few minutes into the second half, Bomber Emily Miletich took a hard hit to the floor taking her out for the remainder of the game. Meanwhile, Rebel Dallis Kukuk landed three three-pointers back to back to give the Rebels a run for the lead, and also landed two from two-point land. Rebel Charis Blacklock added 10 points. Grutkoski added two more second-half points. Mikrot, Rhoades, and Maci Kukuk all added two points, while Tori Walczynski landed the long ball for three points.

The Bombers struggled for a bit until Jordyn Marine and Mallory Agurkis both stepped up with nine points each, while Kaitlyn Skutevik added five points. Lea Peterson and Liz Carlson both added four second-half points. Kendal Miletich rounded out the Bombers scoring with a nice three-pointer.

The Bombers fought off the Rebels' attack to take the victory, 73-60.

The Bombers take on Carlton at home February 12 and travel to South Ridge February 15.

The Rebels take on South Ridge February 13 and Cook County February 16; both are away games.
