Rebel Adam Dragicevich jumps for a shot as Bombers Blaze Hurst, Tony Robinson and Drake Weets attempt to stop him.

The night of Friday, February 9, featured a phenomenal game of boys basketball from both the Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels and the Barnum Bombers. It came down to the last minute, forcing both teams to struggle for fractions of seconds. Ultimately, the Bombers left with the 42-40 win.

Barnum started the game by taking an early lead. Though the Bombers barely held the lead through the first half. The Bombers led 20-19 at the intermission.

As the game continued, it was obvious there wouldn't be a clear winner until the very end, as both teams traded points and finally the Rebels took lead in the third quarter. The Rebels couldn't relax, though, as the Bombers forced them to play until the final minute.

The Rebels play against Braham in Braham February 13. Then they travel to Cook County February 16. The Rebels return home February 20 to play Proctor.
