Bomber Britney Mike drives in from the wing to score over the Rebels.

The Barnum girls bombed in 10 three-pointers en route to a big 75-30 running time win in Barnum on Thursday, February 4 to avenge a big loss to the Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels back on December 10. The Bombers led 42-17 at halftime and put a pair of players in double digits while allowing no Rebels to hit for double figures.

Barnum was led by Emily Miletich's 27, including one three-pointer. Miletich earned a double-double a difficult way as she had 10 steals. Bailey Wheeler scored 21 points, including six swishes from beyond the arc. ML-WR was led by Charis Blacklock's nine points while Hannah Walker, Ava Szczyrbak and Scarlett Anderson each added seven points.

The Bombers went 10-for-26 (38 percent) outside the arc while the Rebels were 0-for-10 on three-point attempts. Barnum worked the paint for 15-for-47 (32 percent) while ML-WR went 11-for-32 (34 percent) on the inside. While the Bombers had an overall field goal rate of 25-for-73 (34 percent) ML-WR had an overall rate of 11-for-42 (26 percent). Barnum added 15-for-21 (71 percent) at the foul stripe while the Rebels went 8-for-12 (67 percent) at the line.

Barnum ripped down 36 rebounds while the Rebels even without their leading rebounder, Libbie Ring, did a fair job trying to keep pace with 30 boards. Barnum's pestering defense produced 23 steals while ML-WR had just five take-aways. ML-WR worked hard to create scoring plays with passes and had 11 assists while Barnum was just one assist behind with 10. The Rebels were severely troubled by 31 turnovers while the Bombers took good care of the basketball with only seven lost possessions.
