Bombers boys soar

Barnum Bomber Mason Agurkis stands his ground against Cromwell and drops the short basket from the paint.

The Barnum Bombers boys hosted the Cromwell Cardinals December 1. The Bombers rolled out fast as Chris Carlson began the scoring for the Bombers.

It was a four-way attack as the Carlson would led with 11 first half points, followed by Hunter Fetters and Drake Weets with nine first half points each. Reece Parks rounded it out with three first half points.

The Bombers out-scored the Cardinals 32-14 in the first half.

The second half was much the same as the Bombers continued to roll over the Cardinals.

Carlson again led the attack with nine points, followed by Weets with seven points. Fetters scored six second half points. Mason Agurkis stood his ground under the basket scoring four points. Parks again landed the long bomb in the second half for three points. Colton Zeigler and Braeden Hlavka came off the bench to score a pair of points to give the Bombers the 65-38 victory.
