Barnum Bomber Anthony Robinson sets up for his touchdown run against the Deer River Warriors August 28.

The Barnum Bombers hit the road to Deer River to take on the Warriors in the second football game of the season, held August 28.

The Bombers won the coin toss and chose to kick off. The Warriors offense had a steady onslaught of weapons as they moved the football up the field, with both a running and a passing game.

The Warriors led 26-0 heading into halftime. The Bombers came out of halftime receiving the ball with the opportunity to drive up the field. It was late in the game when the Bombers finally scored. Anthony Robinson was the Bomber who drove up the middle from two yards out for the touchdown, with the 2-point conversion pass from Hunter Lake to Drake Weets good to give the Bombers their first score of the season.

The Bombers fell to the Warriors 49-8. The Bombers will again be on the road at Aurora to take on the Giants of Mesabi East September 4.
