Child injured in rollover crash

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a rollover crash in Carlton County Sunday injured two people, including a 4-year-old boy.

Road conditions were reported as icy when the crash occurred just after 9:30 a.m. on Interstate 35 at Highway 210.

A Dodge Ram heading northbound on I-35 rolled over into the median. Bystanders stopped to assist when a second vehicle, a Dodge Dakota, rolled over in the same spot, hitting a couple people.

The report states 4-year-old Cameron Moroney of Hugo, a passenger of the first vehicle, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured was Adam Roen, 32, of Eveleth, a bystander. They were transported to hospitals in Cloquet and Duluth.
