Valley Printing has moved to Moose Lake.

"We opened up here on November 4," said owner Lisa Rimolde in a recent interview at the new location on Hartman Drive.

The 13-year-old business is now located between Holy Angels Catholic Church and the branch office of First National Bank in the former Classic Printing building.

Valley Printing offers printing services of all kinds: color copies and both screen printed and embroidered clothing, such as caps, shirts, jackets, stocking caps, blankets, T-shirts, banners and promotional items. A full color photo can be put on a shirt, and they also offer buttons or ceramic mugs with a desired photo or design. Any quantity can be provided, from one to thousands.

"We can print or embroider shirts for class reunions and family reunions," said Jay, Lisa's husband and co-owner. "We can help design something or someone else can design it and it can be brought or sent here by email to have printed."

Valley Printing also provides reams of paper of all types and sizes, business cards and vinyl transfer signs as well as bulk mailing.

The business has been printing both the newsletters for the Barnum and Moose Lake schools for years in its previous location at the Rimolde home.

Valley Printing has two employees, Amanda Oquist and Melissa Nelson.

Now that the business has moved to Moose Lake, Lisa said, "I can go home and not have to think about the business."

"It's so much better now that we are in town," added Jay. "Two or three people a week have been stopping in and telling us that they are glad that we are here. Most of the time we have been able to help them with their printing needs.

"A lady from Mora was driving by one day. She stopped in and said that she was glad to see a place where she could get copies rather than having to drive back to Mora."

Jay started out in the printing business while he was still in high school when he worked at the print shop in Mahtowa.

"I want to thank Tom Bislow," he said. "He gave me my start in the back room of his printing business."

Valley Printing also offers delivery service.

For more information, call Valley Printing at the previous phone number, (218) 389-0048, or at the new phone number, (218) 485-5736. Both phone numbers are available at the Moose Lake location. Or send an email to mailbox@valleyprinting.us.

"We invite everyone to stop in and see us," said Lisa. "We invite people to come here for all of their printing needs. We are happy to be a part of the community."

"We always have free notepads," added Jay. "People can always stop in and pick up some of those."
