Barnum Spring Fever Days this weekend
Doris and Rodney Dahl named grand marshals
Doris and Rodney Dahl of Barnum have been chosen as this year's Spring Fever Days' grand marshals.
They have been Barnum residents for many years. Rod moved to Barnum when he was 13 years old and Doris has lived here from the age of 2. After they were married, they left the area for Fargo-Moorhead for three years and then Arizona for three years. After the birth of their first son, they decided to move back to Barnum.
The Dahls have three sons, Jarrod (Ana) of New York, Matt (Jess) and Ben (Jill), who are living in Moose Lake. Rod and Doris have twin granddaughters and are expecting twin grandsons also.

Hobbies for the couple include working with stained glass and spending time with their grandchildren.
When asked to describe Barnum, they said, "It's a good place to raise kids. The educational system and the birth of our first child brought us back to the area."
