All-Star games held in Barnum

The boys Red Team beat the Blue Team 108-92.

The 10th Annual Polar League All-Star games were held in Barnum on Tuesday, April 2. The girls played first. The Dark Team beat the White Team 64-57.

The following girls scored for the Dark Team: Theresa Morrin, Cook County, 10 points; Marisa Shady, Esko, nine points; Allie Cahoon, Cromwell, nine points; Lane Schraugnagel, Two Harbors, nine points; Daron Mainville, Barnum, eight points; Tori Zime, Carlton, six points; Korrina Mickelson, McGregor, five points; Erika Shady, Esko, four points; and Christina Stenson, Cromwell, four points.

The following girls scored for the White Team: Clarissa Nelson, Carlton, 12 points; Claudia Turner, Esko, 12 points; Stacey Larva, Floodwood, seven points; Abby Hawkinson, McGregor, six points; Adri Jusczak, Moose Lake-Willow River, six points; Alicia Nopola, Silver Bay, five points; Brooke Scramm, Esko, four points; Cheyanne Johnson, Barnum, three points; and Shaelyn Halverson, Moose Lake-Willow River, two points. Also on the White Team were Moose Lake-Willow River players Hailey Johnson and Taylor Miller.

Red beats Blue in boys game

Following the girls' game, the boys Polar League All-Star Red Team faced the Blue Team. The Red Team came out ahead 108-92.

The following boys scored for the Red Team: Kory Deadrick, Esko, 19 points; Erik Adams, Carlton, 15 points; Brandon Newman, 15 points; Colin Evenson, Cook County, 12; Justin Hall, Floodwood, 11 points; Tony Adamczak, Moose Lake-Willow River, 11 points; Lane Empson, Carlton, nine points; Ross Schminski, Floodwood, seven points; Zachary Carlson, Barnum, four points; Jared Hutar, Cromwell, four points; and Alex Lemke, Floodwood, one point.

The following boys scored for the Blue Team: Danny Warpula, Barnum, 18 points; Riley Bernsderf, Floodwood, 15 points; Ezra Szczyrbak, Moose Lake-Willow River, 13 points; Kale Boomer, Cook County, nine points; Jake Disterhaupt, Moose Lake-Willow River, eight points; Kyle Blood, Silver Bay, seven points; Marc Peterson, Esko, six points; Pat Gustafson, Wrenshall, six points; Casey Staniger, Esko, six points; and Charlie Pavlisich, Two Harbors, two points.
