The new Northview Bank, located at the intersection of County Road 140 and County Road 6, opened on Tuesday, November 13.
The new bank features a conference room, offices for the branch manager/loan officer and a new accounts office, handicap accessible restrooms, safety deposit boxes, a drive-up window and ATM, as well as three teller stations, including a handicap accessible teller station. The bank has six employees.
The attractive décor features maple woodwork. Storage space is available in the basement of the building.
Ground was broken for the new bank on May 30, and Legacy Custom Homes constructed the building.
Leased space is occupied by Town and Country Insurance and North Compass Financial.
A grand opening has been set for December 3 through December 7. Giveaways will be available every day and customers may sign up for a grand prize. The drawing for the grand prize and cake and coffee will be served on Friday, December 7.
“We think that we’ve made a fairly substantial commitment to the city of Barnum by investing in this new building,” said President Ron Carlson. “We hope to be here a long time.”
