Cheer team helps military families

Barnum Bomber cheerleaders and the Moose Lake AmericInn are collecting donations promoting "family night" for local military personnel and their families. Each homeroom at the Barnum High School has a collection bin to fill with activities families can do together. Appropriate items include movies, coloring books and crayons, puzzles and board games, popcorn and other snacks. Donations can be dropped at the Barnum High School office or the AmericInn in Moose Lake. The AmericInn will host a "Celebrating our Hometown Heroes" event November 14 from 4-7 p.m. when volunteers will fill tote bags with the items promoting family time. The Barnum cheer team is pictured, front: Franscesca Braun, Elise Crowley, Derae Sample and Jessica Smith. Back: Coach Kathy Parker, Haylee Johnson, Kelsey Timm, Pear Chotsiri and Savannah Haley.
