Re-assessment of property in Carlton County

FROM CARLTON COUNTY OFFICIALS

Due to the recent flooding in the Carlton County area and Carlton County being in a State of Emergency, it is the responsibility of the County Assessor to inspect and re-assess all properties damaged in the disaster areas.

The purpose of the re-assessment is for property tax relief and any federal FEMA monies available to you.

We are assembling a team of appraisers to assess properties in a timely manner. Inspections are expected to begin on Monday, June 25th.

If you have sustained property damage due to the floods, you can call the Assessor’s office at 218-384-9142 or 218-384-9144.

If you cannot reach someone, please call 218-384-9149, leave your name, address and a phone number where we can reach you.

Your call will be returned within a few hours.
